4. New Registered Agent Consent:
The new registered agent must consent to serve in that capacity, typically by signing Form 401-A, Acceptance of Appointment and Consent to Serve as Registered Agent.
5. Check Your Business Status:
After submitting the change, you should check your business status with the Texas Comptroller.
